An 'ejournal' or 'electronic journal' is a journal or magazine that is available online.
Most ejournals are simply digitised versions of the print version. Exactly the same information is contained in the ejournal as in the print journal. Increasingly, however, journals are no longer (or never were) published in print format, and instead they are only available electronically.
Many ejournals are provided through electronic databases or in e-journal packages.
