Reciprocal borrowing is an arrangement that allows students of the University of Notre Dame Australia to borrow materials from the libraries of affiliated organizations and for the students of those affiliated organizations to borrow from our libraries. Membership is for the current academic year only and borrowers must reapply annually.

Reciprocal membership does not provide access to electronic resources at the University of Notre Dame Australia.

All reciprocal borrowing occurs under two frameworks:

  • The University Libraries of Australia and New Zealand (ULANZ) scheme covers most university libraries in Australia and New Zealand
  • Locally negotiated agreements cover other types of libraries on an individual basis.
