What happened to the Library’s online guide for the 17th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style? I’m halfway through my thesis and still need to use the earlier CMOS17 version.

In 2024 the 18^th edition of the Chicago Manual of style was published. The Library’s online referencing guide has been updated to reflect the new changes that came about with the 18^th edition.

Some academics and HDR students may be halfway through their writing and choose to carry on using the earlier edition. You can use the links below to access the official CMOS17 style guide and the Library’s online referencing guide.
