To cite a long paraphrase put the citation in the first sentence in the paragraph to which the source applies, as long as context makes it clear that you're discussing the same source and you don't use any other sources within that paragraph and there are no direct quotations. You should not repeat the citation within the paragraph.

Example: 

Magson et al. (2021) found that social connectedness during a lockdown period of the pandemic moderated symptoms of depression and anxiety as well as overall life satisfaction. In their study, social connectedness referred to how connected or distant respondents felt to the people around them.
