Troubleshooting Tips

  • Make sure you are logged into Blackboard, close the Cite It! window and try again.
  • If you are using the Cite It! bookmark, try installing the bookmark extension instead (instructions linked at the bottom of this page).
  • Try using another browser (the Library recommends using Google Chrome for Leganto).
  • Try deleting the bookmark or bookmark extension and reinstalling. 
     

Add resources manually

Please note that some websites will not work with Cite It! and you may need to add the resource manually:

  1. In your reading list click Add.
  2. Select Manual Entry.
  3. Select your resource type - website.
  4. Copy the title of the webpage from your resource.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Complete the required fields and paste the URL of your webpage into the Source field.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Add any student notes and a tag if required.
  9. Click Add.
