Reserve items are high demand materials that have been selected as unit reading requirements. They have loan restrictions placed on them to ensure reasonable access for students.
The Reserve collection is made up of the following sub-collections:
- Closed Reserve
- Electronic Reserve (eReserve).
Material may be placed in Reserve:
- At the request of academic staff (who must submit a Reserve Request form)
- By library staff (when there is evidence of heavy use).
The Reserve collections are not permanent, and items can be continually added and removed.
