On June 13th the Library will transition to EBSCO’s new user interface. This will result in a new look and feel across our EBSCOhost databases, including Academic Search Ultimate, Business Source Ultimate and CINAHL Ultimate.

While these changes will bring a host of improvements, users should be aware that some existing features will be impacted and may require action from you.

Impacted features and actions you need to take

  • Access to existing custom folders:

If you have content stored in your EBSCO custom (nested) folders, now is the time to copy your articles, ebooks, images, videos and saved searches to the My Folder section of your classic EBSCO folder.

This will ensure that your content seamlessly syncs with the new My Dashboard when the Library transitions to the new EBSCO user interface.

An option to download your EBSCO custom folders to Excel (csv.) will be available soon should you also wish to store your data elsewhere.

  • Search and journal alerts:

If you have any search or journal alerts set up, you’ll need to recreate these in the new interface using these simple steps

Remember to delete any old alerts from classic as you set your new alerts up to prevent duplicates.
