You can find videos and guides from Student Success here to help you with each aspect of your written assessments. The “Success Now! eCourses, for instance, provide advice and examples on topics such as ‘Getting under the word limit’ and ‘Getting your writing to flow’.
You can also attend live online workshops on assessment writing and other study skills by accessing the library ‘workshops and events calendar’ here and clicking on ‘Success Now’.
Student Success also offers one-to-one support with assessment writing (as well as with study skills, English language, and maths) either online or on campus. Click on this link, select ‘Student Success’ in the location you prefer, and then choose the time that suits you best.
Finally, don’t forget that help with assessment writing is also available 24/7 through Studiosity. Studiosity is an external service, which you can access by clicking on the icon in the ‘Tools’ section of Blackboard. This online study support service allows you to upload samples of your assessment writing and to receive feedback on the structure, style, and correctness of your written English.
