The main difference between the reference management tools Endnote and Refworks is the mode of access. Endnote needs to be downloaded to your computer at home (and is also installed on all computers at UNDA). Refworks is web-based and requires no downloading. It accessed via a username and password.

Both programs have downloadable plug-ins for Microsoft Word that allow you to insert references into a document.
