What is meant be the phrase "Educational Purpose"?
The terms of our copyright licences allow us to use copyright materials for the "educational purposes of the University".
These purposes could include:
- using materials to teach students;
- making a copy available to students, or communicating to students, as part of a course of study at the University;
- retaining a copy in the University library or elsewhere (eg by a staff member) as a teaching resource; and
- using materials in the administration of students and courses.
