The terms of our copyright licences allow us to use copyright materials for the "educational purposes of the University".

These purposes could include:

  • using materials to teach students;
  • making a copy available to students, or communicating to students, as part of a course of study at the University;
  • retaining a copy in the University library or elsewhere (eg by a staff member) as a teaching resource; and
  • using materials in the administration of students and courses.
