Answer

All staff and students of UNDA are automatically registered to receive pre-overdue notices, which are sent out three (3) working days prior to the due date of any items. Notices are not typically sent on the weekends, so if your item is due on Tuesday you may not get a pre-overdue notice until Monday.

Pre-overdue notices will be sent out for all items except:

  • 3-day loans
  • Reserve items (2-hour or overnight loans)
  • Other shorter term loan items.

Note: Your student or staff email is used for all University Library communications, including pre-overdue notices, so please check your UNDA email regularly.

Disclaimer: Pre-overdue notices are a courtesy and not an obligation of the Library. It is your responsibility to make note of when your items are due and renew or return them. You can check this on the My Library Account page of the Library website.
