APA Annotated bibliography referencing styles available with Refworks

Hi,

We are required to do an annotated bibliography for a unit in the GCUT, and I wondered if we could have an annotated referencing style made available, or if this would be deemed to be too confusing? I can always just format my annotated bibliography manually, but if there's an easier way I am all for that as well!

Thanks!

Answer

There is an annotated version of APA available in RefWorks. Click on the View box in the bottom left hand corner and then the “cog wheel” icon next to the Citation View:

In the “Search for styles…” box search for “annotated” to get the choices available and select:

APA 6th – Annotated with Abstracts – American Psychological Association, 6th Edition

Use the Abstract field in the edit box to insert your annotation. Some will already have abstracts that you will need to edit.
