How can I export a (standalone) reference list from EndNote to a Word document?
Creating a standalone reference list / bibliography
You can drag references from an EndNote Library window directly into your paper. Have EndNote and a Word document open – preferably so that you can see both on your screen at the same time.
To drag your bibliography:
- Select the desired references in your EndNote Library - use Ctrl+click (Windows) or Command+click (Mac) to choose those that you wish to include.
- Make sure the referencing style in the Bibliographic Output Style window in your EndNote Library is the one you wish to use to format your reference list.
- Hold down the Ctrl or Cmd key as you drag the references from the library and drop them directly onto the Word document.
