Under Researching Help on the Library Homepage you will find a list of links - the Referencing Guide is one of these.

Click on Referencing Guide, and then on the Chicago Footnotes menu option on the left of the page. A drop down list of types of materials will appear - choose Books, and the examples shown should help you put together your Chicago footnotes and bibliography.

For more detailed information about putting a reference together, see the bottom of that page, or click on the hyperlinked numeric reference in the heading of the section (see example below) to take you to the Chicago Manual of Style Online.
