Q

Can I donate books to the library?

I have about used text books from my degree that are still in good condition. Can I donate these to the library or any other organisations?

Answer

The Library does accept donations of books, however we do not guarantee that all donations are added to the collection. All donated items are assessed for suitability based on our collection development guidelines, and are added where relevant.

You will need to complete a Donations form which you can access from the attached link and drop this off with your books at any of our libraries.  Books not accepted for addition to our collections are offered free to other students.

The CoOp bookstore will re-sell any texts that are used for current units.  Alternatively, you may like to investigate charitable organisations such as Save the Children (WA) which have an annual public book sale to raise funds.
